e-SIDES at Cyberwatching Concertation Meeting

On April 26, e-SIDES took part in the first Cyberwatching.eu concertation meeting organized in Brussels as a networking opportunity to bring together different projects that are dealing with cyber security and privacy related themes. The workshop aimed at taking stock of the current R&I landscape and to identify common themes and challenges for clustering activities, a strong focus was put on the upcoming implementation of the GDPR.


All projects attending the event gave a pitch presentation highlighting how they are focusing on privacy related issues in their research. Aguzzi (IDC) presented the overall scope of the project and the key findings of the analysis of the issues from a privacy-related perspective. e-SIDES participated in a breakout session titled “Policy, governance, ethics, human aspects, trust and usability”.
